COMPASS WINS JUVENILE PRODUCT INNOVATION AWARD
Compass, a company started in 2003, received a 2004 Innovation Award from the Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association (JPMA). The award was for the Compass B500, the first foldable belt positioning booster car seat!
Automobile harnesses are designed for adults and do not appropriately position lap belts and shoulder belts on young children. As a result, many states have increased the age and weight requirements children must stay in child restraint car seats. Belt positioning boosters have emerged as parent’s choice for this need since they use the auto’s own harness system and are easy to install.
The Compass B500 booster car seat is unique because it folds, the only folding childrens car seat on the market! Folding makes it easy to store when parents want to ride with other adults and do not want to move the booster seat into the house. The Compass B500 can easily fit even in the smallest trunk. And parents love the maximum convenience the Compass Folding B500 provides whether just switching the seat from one car to another or traveling across the country! It saves storage space and has a handle that makes it easy to carry!
And finally, the Compass B500 was awarded for providing a three-layer ultra comfortable pad which makes padding comfortable and appropriate for the older children who ride in this type of booster seat. Comfortable children are happy children! The Compass B500 is made for children 3 to 10 years old and from 30 to 100 lbs. The Compass B500 has easily adjustable arm rests, a backrest that adjusts up and down, and has a cool new look!
